Videocon D2H is the latest DTH service provider in India . It is owned by Videocon Company LTD . It is launched on May 1, 2009 however D2h HD DVR is launched on On 15 March, 2011 with 3D .
It uses MPEG-4 with DVB S2 digital compression technology for telecasting it's channels .
Videocon D2H Currently using ST1 at 88°E Satellites for telecasting it's programmes .It uses 6 TP for telecasting it's channels .Due to it uses MPEG-4 , it provides so many channels with just 5 TPs though it affects it's audio/video quality slightly .
